Learn about the history and culture of the Near West Side at the unveiling of the first of a series of murals painted and curated by Brad Bernard as part of the Westview Mural Tour. Meet at the Vliet Street Oasis and walk to the unveiling at the Wisconsin African American Women’s Center at 3020 W Vliet Street. Along the way, you will hear about future murals by artists Reynaldo Hernandez, Rozalia Henandez-Singh, Ruthie Joy, Jay Sterling, and Brandon Minga and also see existing works of art along the corridor.
