RESIDENTIAL RESOURCES

Residents are the heart of Milwaukee’s Near West Side. To ensure everyone who lives and stays here can thrive, community resources provide added support.

Attend Landlord Compact Meetings

The Landlord Compact meetings are a tool for multi-unit property owners in the Near West Side to learn and engage in best practices. Representatives from the Milwaukee Police Department, Department of Neighborhood Services, Safe and Sound, Near West Side Safety Ambassadors, the City Attorney and the District Attorney provide updates and resources for dealing with nuisance properties and challenging tenants.

Meetings take place every second Thursday of the month from 1:00PM -2:00PM. No meeting in December.
Beginning July 14, 2022, the Landlord Compact meetings will meet in person only. There will be no virtual option. However, light refreshments will be served.

Meetings will take place only at the Ambassador Inn, 2301 W Wisconsin Ave.
You will need to use the side door on 23rd Street. Parking is available on the street and in the lot across the street on 23rd.
