Near West Side Partners is compassionate and sympathetic to the individuals in our community experiencing housing insecurity and/or homelessness. If you are at risk of being evicted or otherwise experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity, please consult the following organizations, programs, and services for assistance.

Impact 211 offers 24/7 assistance and information on a wide variety of non-emergency family, financial, health and social service issues.

Housing Assistance & Eviction Resources

The Rental Housing Resource Center connects individuals to most housing-related organizations in Milwaukee.

The Milwaukee County Housing Division Eviction Prevention Program can assist individuals currently receiving a subsidy.

Work with the Department of Neighborhood Services (DNS) to make conditions complaints that have gone unaddressed by a landlord.

Community Advocates can coordinate energy assistance, rent assistance, and the rent withholding program.

Mediate Milwaukee offers free mediation services that are available to landlords and tenants to help avoid eviction filings.

Get free legal resources, advice, and representation available from Legal Aid Society and Legal Action of Wisconsin.

NWSP’s Good Neighbor Program offers safe and secure properties with reputable landlords.
