We invite you to join us next week for the first film in our annual Environmental and Social Justice Film series, in partnership with Milwaukee Riverkeeper. We will be showing one film per month March-June, and will offer panels, talkbacks, question and answer time, or another activity following the film.
Our film for March is the Frontline documentary The Affordable Housing Crisis: More Demand, Less Supply. The film discusses the challenges that many renters and homeowners face in finding and keeping affordable housing. After the film, we will be joined by staff from Rooted and Rising and Near West Side Partners, two organizations working to improve the affordable housing situation in the Washington Park area. Representatives from these orgs will introduce the work they do, and answer any housing related questions.
When: Tuesday, March 12th, 2024, 5:30-7:30pm
Where: Washington Park Library, Community Room
