Beginning Saturday, November 20th, the Tripoli Shriners host their 4th annual Feztival of Trees. The Feztival of Tree’s has had a long history with the Kora Shriners in Maine, and ever since 2016, the Tripoli Shriners have modeled their plans off blueprints and infrastructure from the original holiday event. The annual Tripoli Feztival of Tree’s takes place the week of Thanksgiving, from Saturday the 20th to Saturday the 27th – tickets are $5 for adults and free for kids under the age of 12.
The Tripoli Feztival of Trees gathers businesses and community groups to donate and sponsor trees and gifts so that they can be raffled off to adults and children. Community members are encouraged to attend the Feztival of Trees and participate in any of the many raffles available, which include a Fully Decorated Tree raffle, a 50/50 raffle, a Lottery Tree raffle, and a Gift Certificate Tree raffle. Attendees can also expect this year’s event to include $5 photos with Santa, live music and entertainment, an hourly choreographed light and music show, and a food court featuring a variety of snacks. The NWSP has made it a tradition to be a sponsor for this event and hopes to see community members check out this year’s tree.
The Tripoli Feztival of Trees is a family-friendly event, where community members alike can enjoy music, food, activities, and decorations. Those who want to get more involved in the Tripoli Feztival of Trees, can, by becoming a sponsor or simply attending the event. Tripoli Shrine members are excited to provide a safe space for adults and children to celebrate their community and they welcome anyone to come and get into the holiday spirit!
