DESCRIPTION:The 36th Annual Historic Concordia Home & Garden Tour welcomes visitors to explore historic homes and gardens and approach homeowners to discover hidden secrets and histories of their houses. Enjoy a walk through our historic neighborhood; watch a presentation by author Bobby Tanzilo (Urban Spelunking); stop by our Beer Tasting Garden; relax at our Cake and Pie Social; and\, stop by The New State to take in an art exhibit\, live music\, family centric entertainment and explore the future of the historic State Theater.\nThe historic home & garden tour exposes visitors to the wealth of historic homes and structures in the Historic Concordia neighborhood. We provide historical background information and offer glimpses into neighborhood revitalization programs in a family friendly environment.\nProceeds from the event are directed into community building and improvement projects. We also support other neighborhood organizations and community centers.

DESCRIPTION:(For adults & teens) Celebrate the Full Moon with your friends at the UEC! This beginner level paddle will be hosted as the full moon rises in Milwaukee. Those with previous paddling experience are encouraged to join us as we canoe through downtown and try to spot the full moon rising. \nCanoeing requires flexibility to get in and out of the vessel\, upper body and core strength\, and a fair amount of balance. Our staff are happy to assist in launching and disembarking your canoe. Lifeguard certified staff will be your guides on this unique early morning paddle.
