Those with previous paddling experience are encouraged to join us as we canoe through downtown and try to spot the full moon rising. \nCanoeing requires flexibility to get in and out of the vessel\, upper body and core strength\, and a fair amount of balance. Originating in 2013 when teens in Chicago wore orange to remember Hadiya Pendleton\, the color now symbolizes the call for action and solidarity.
